Reforma Theater

The Reforma Theater is one of the most important and historical cultural buildings in Veracruz. Inaugurated in the 19th century, this venue was built during a stage of urban modernization of the port and quickly became a center for artistic, cultural, and political activities. Inside, theatrical plays, concerts, and official events of great relevance to Veracruz social life were held. Its name refers to the historical period of the Liberal Reform in Mexico, and over the years the building has been restored to preserve its architectural and cultural value as part of the historical heritage of Veracruz.
