Heroismo Veracruzano Plaza

The Heroismo Veracruzano Plaza is a commemorative space dedicated to remembering the different heroic deeds that marked the history of Veracruz and the country. The port was the scene of important military events, such as the defense against foreign invasions in the 19th and 20th centuries, which is why Veracruz received the title of "Four Times Heroic." The plaza seeks to pay tribute to the soldiers, sailors, and citizens who participated in these historical defenses, as well as serving as a public space for coexistence and historical memory facing the waterfront.
