Atarazanas Cultural Center

The Atarazanas Building, now the Atarazanas Cultural Center, is one of the oldest colonial structures in Veracruz, built in the 18th century behind the Santiago Bastion. Constructed with coral stone, it originally served as a naval shipyard and royal Spanish warehouse. Today it stands as a vibrant cultural venue hosting art exhibitions, workshops, and traditional events.
