Salvador Díaz Mirón House

This museum was the residence of the Veracruz poet and journalist Salvador Díaz Mirón, one of the most important literary figures in 19th and early 20th-century Mexico. The property preserves furniture, documents, library, and personal objects of the writer. Díaz Mirón stood out for his modernist poetry and also for his intense political and journalistic activity. The house was transformed into a museum to preserve his literary legacy and show aspects of the intellectual life of Veracruz at that time. It is currently one of the most representative cultural museums in the historic center.
